OOoooo! Makeover!
Posted March 18th, 2007 by Matthew in NewsHello!
As you may have noticed, there have been some fancy new changes to the g14 site! We’ve had some requests to make the content no the site easier to access and we’ve done that! So now, you’ll notice at the top of the g14 page that there is some new navigation. Click on “Films” and you are taken to a page that lists all of the short films and feature films that we’ve worked on. Clicking on any of the short films will take to that films page, where you can watch the film right from the page! That’s right, no more downloading and waiting to watch the stuff, thanks to the magic of Blip.tv, all of the short films play just like a film would from the vlog! Well, except Office Rivalry. That’s still not up yet.
Click on “Shows” and you’ll be taken to our new show page, where we’ve collected some of the ongoing shows that have come out of the video blog. Check this out to find all of the episodes of things like Ultimate Eye for the Vertigo Guy, Stone and MacGregor, and the Punisher War Journal in one place. And again, you can watch them directly from the page! Wicked!
“Videos” has changed to “vlog”…since that’s what it is. Nothing else has changed there, as we continue to bring you funny, perhaps slightly inappropriate content each week. Keep in mind that we’ve just made these changes, so there may still be a few bugs lurking around. We’ll keep on it and fix whatever we find.
Mad, mad props go to the very lovely Kelli Audibert for kicking ass and taking names on these changes. She has been really amazing in doing all of this stuff, and everybody should give her a big thanks for making the content so easy to get to now.
And let’s not forget the other kickass change that has happened, one that you might not be able to see, but is big none the less. Our blog has been moved over to Wordpress, thanks to the always amazing Brian Stearns! Brian has spent a ton of his time trying to move all of our old blog entries over to this new platform, and after what I believe must have been some sort of deal that he made with Satan, finally was able to push everything into it’s proper place. What does this mean for us? Well, it gives us much more control over the blog, blocks out the spam that has hit the earlier blog posts, and lets us do cool stuff like post this picture of how I felt the morning after our shoot yesterday (which, since this is new, I’m not sure where on the page this is going to show up).
Good times people! Everyone give some major love to Brian and Kelli for being so awesome and making the website even better for everybody to use! YAAAAYY!
Matthew
