Some New Stuff
Posted April 24th, 2007 by Matthew in NewsHey all,
So, wanted to take a minute and talk a little bit about things that I have hinted at in previous blog entries. I’m trying to take Gavin’s advice from the Jeff and Toaster piece and follow through. So, without further ado, here is some of the cool stuff on the horizon:
1. If you’re in the Philly area of the country on June 17th, you might just want to buy a ticket for Wizard World Philly. g14 has been invited to present a kick ass panel on how we do things as part of the Wizard World School on Sunday. Wicked yeah? Now we just have to figure out what it is we’re going to present.
2. In the next couple of weeks, the vlog is going to undergo a little facelift. Nothing major, just an awesome little intro to tie everything together and make it more like an actual show. Does that mean ongoing characters and subtle plot developments amidst an interweaving storyline? Hah. Hell no. It just means all the random funny stuff we come up will now have a very professional looking bow on it. We have the very awesome Bronson Hoover and his dnb studios to thank for the intro. In fact, it looks so awesome, we may have to step up our game on the vlog and actually light some of the shoots now. But probably not.
3. Last but not least in the slightest is the secret new project that we are working on. I can tell you a few things about it:
-It’s a big departure from everything we’ve been doing on the vlog.
-The cast we’ve put together for it is incredible.
-It’s an ongoing internet series character drama.
-We’ve shot some of the first footage for it, and it looks very nice.
-It’s called…hah. I’m not going to tell you right now.
-We may premiere an episode at Wizard World Philly.
Exciting stuff! And here’s a pic from our first shoot:

That’s me being nice to Jeff. He’s recovering quite nicely, with very minimal scarring.

You son of a bitch. I was just going to post this SAME picture with a different witty caption. And I am healing nicely. However, Safetysaurus would’ve been scarred by some of the things going on at this shoot. Those pictures will be posted another time. Let us just say, that safety many not have been the FIRST thing on our minds at a certain point of this shoot. Instead, safety for the camera was the first thing. This is actually Matthew’s revenge for the danger I may or may not have put our camera in. Don’t worry folks, no permanent damage was done.

I am SO EXCITED for the new stuff coming up! As a g14 “insider” (don’t be jealous, fellow Superfans, but I witnessed some of the new project details. . . and it promises to be Wicked Awesome).
Matthew, it looks sort of like you’re holding a light saber. Sabre? Which gave me a stroke of genius! What if, in the pirate film, they’re in the future or something and have saber(re)s? Dave, put it in the script!
And did someone get a nifty little haircut, Jeff?

Yup. A nifty little haircut. After being hit by Matthew’s barbell, I do wish I had all the hair to hide the scarring.

Holy smokes, I am so excited. SO EXCITED!!!!!!! I can’t wait!

As OFFICIAL Safetysaurus of g14 productions, I was seriously alarmed by reports of safety violations on-set. Yet, I was thrilled by the excellent progress made on the series. While I assemble my top-notch first aid kit, I eagerly await [CENSORED BY JEFF — look at you Safetysaurus, trying to give away the name of our new project. FOR SHAME!]! Oh, and I’m creating a Safetysaurus uniform…

I feel the shame, and I’m sorry g14 productions.

I’ll give a nice, shiny new nickel to whoever (is it whomever, Matthew? I have trouble with that) posts a new rant. What’s happening in g14land?
May 12th, 2007 at 12:53 am
Sorry, JKfC… no new rants until you pony up my million dollars from the last go around. Them’s the breaks.

How’s Tuesday work for the transfer of funds for a new blog entry? We’ll start with the nickel (like I said, it’s really shiny!) and then work our way up to the mil. Thanks!

Hmmmm… I’ll think about it.

So. . .this was posted like, a month ago. Is anyone else reallyreally sad that nothing new is up? I know you folks at g14 have lots to write about. Throw us a bone!
